Ingredients

  • For the Steak
  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • For the Ravioli & Sauce
  • 1 package 20 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak
  • Season the Steak: Pat steak slices dry with a paper towel and season them with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Cook the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • Melt the Butter: In the same skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  • Sauté the Garlic: Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Deglaze the Pan: Pour in beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the steak to incorporate all that flavor.
  • Cook the Ravioli
  • Add the Ravioli: Stir in the cheese ravioli directly into the skillet with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Incorporate the Cream & Seasoning: Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, mixing well.
  • Simmer: Cover the skillet and let everything simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the ravioli is tender and infused with the sauce.
  • Combine & Serve
  • Return the Steak: Add the cooked steak back to the skillet and toss everything together.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
  • Serve Hot: Plate immediately and enjoy the richness of this indulgent meal!
