Hey, my name is Rayan El Alaoui, and I’m the person behind Recyums.com

Many of my best childhood memories were made around the dinner table, sharing delicious meals with my family. Those moments shaped me into who I am today—food has always been more than just nourishment; it’s been a way to connect, celebrate, and create lasting experiences.

After high school, I got into weightlifting and started viewing food purely as fuel rather than something to enjoy. Like many, I fell into the trap of diet culture, where I believed that tasty food had to be “bad” for me. I felt like I had to sacrifice my love for food in order to reach my fitness goals. But over time, I realized I was giving up too much—I wasn’t willing to choose between enjoying food and staying fit.

So, I started experimenting in the kitchen, using my knowledge of nutrition to find ways to make meals that were both delicious and aligned with my health goals. After a lot of trial and error, I figured out that small ingredient swaps and smart cooking techniques could completely transform meals without sacrificing flavor.

I created Recyums.com because I want to share what I’ve learned with others. My goal is to show that eating healthy doesn’t mean giving up the foods you love—it’s about making them work for you. Whether you’re looking for high-protein, comfort-food-inspired recipes or just want to enjoy flavorful meals without compromising your goals, I’m here to help.
